✧ because of the nature of silk velvet, you will notice a few things : (1) loose threads are common and can be easily fixed, just trim the thread with a sharp pair of scissors and (2) the velvet will produce "fluff," this should go away with time (3) silk can wrinkle easily, to smooth out your ribbon, you can gently iron it on the flat side (no fluff side) on low heat (4) our ribbons are handcrafted in small batches in a home studio, because of this, there can be slight differences in color from dye bath to dye bath (5) darker colors (especially red) can bleed when wet, make sure the ribbons are completely dry before handling. please note, that all computer monitors will display colors differently. when i photograph the ribbons (in natural light), I do try to capture the exact color you will be receiving. however, there might be a slight variance in the color and i cannot guarantee an exact match.
